Steps of Removing A WordPress Theme

Then, you have to select ‘Appearance’ in the dashboard panel and then select ‘Themes.’ On the screen, you will find all installed themes on your WordPress site. Your active theme is the first theme on the list.
Next, you have to hover over the targeted theme you want to remove and select ‘Theme Details.’ You can’t remove your active theme. You have to activate another theme first if you’re going to remove your active theme. Now, in the present appearing window, you have to select the ‘Delete’ option in the bottom right region.
Now, you will notice a warning asking you for the final confirmation of removing the theme. You have to select ‘OK.’ In this way, you can remove the theme from the WordPress installation and server. If you mistakenly remove the wrong theme, there’s nothing to worry about. You can re-install the theme from the themes directory in WordPress or re-upload the theme from your backup.
